The East Coast Cartel
The Men's team has now merged with Colchester Lacrosse Club for the 2010/11 season
Well we play in Pink and we'll whoop your ass too. We're based in
Norwich and contrary to popular belief don't dress up in women's underwear (not
on weekdays anyway).
We begin playing in SEMLA East Division two in 2006/7, we quickly became title challengers in our very first league season, though this challenge was thwarted in the final rounds. In addition, we reached the final of the Flags competition and despite losing on the day, we received what must be the biggest runners up trohpy in the sport. Everyone on the tube thought we'd won, which was good enough for us.
In the 2007/8 season we were once again touted as favourites for promotion. The challenge for the title went to the wire leaving us requiring a win on the last day of the season and for Brighton to lose. Unfortunately Brighton won their match which meant we finished runners up.
This season we were promoted to East Division One and face higher calibre opponents to previous years. We are currently battling it out are are confident we can attain a respectable league position.
